August has been another month with plenty happening, and a good one at that! It feels like it’s gone quick, yet dragged at the same time…
August feels like a strange month to me. It’s still Summer, but it doesn’t quite feel like Summer any more. Maybe it’s all the back to school things? I mean, it’s been a couple of years since I graduated university, but nearing September still makes me think of school.
Anyway, August has still been full of some great things, probably the best being our sunny trip to Marbella! The last of my 2017 holidays and that’s kind of sad. I need to get back to saving up now. I’ve got big plans for 2018 and I don’t want a lack of money to stop me!
So what made me happy this month?
+ Spending a weekend in Marbella.
+ I got a new tattoo!
+ We travelled down to Wembley for the Challenge Cup.
+ Still had a good day, despite losing.
+ I ran the St Helens Dream Trail race.
+ BBQs with friends.
+ Seeing THE SCRIPT after two long years of them not doing shows.
+ Game of Thrones. That finale. OMG.
+ Sorting my desk area out with a new desk.
+ New blog design (not fully finished, but y’know, doing it in bits).
September brings a couple of running events (the English Half Marathon weekend is getting very close now!) and not much else at the moment. I’m looking forward to staying in one place if I’m quite honest – both July and August were busy months.
