Oh October. Oh how happy I am that it’s over! What a month this has been. Very up and down, and strange to say the least.
This month seems to have flown by, yet it has also felt like one of the longest months ever. I don’t know how that works, but it does. I’m pleased to be in November now though. Halloween is out of the way, and it’s time to get started on all things Christmas! Oh yes.
If I’m being perfectly honest here, October did not start off well and it didn’t really get much better. We had to say goodbye to Charlie on the 7th, and it’s just been a bit crappy ever since. I’ve had days where it’s all been great and fun, and I’ve had days where I’ve done nothing except hide in my room all day because I didn’t want to face anything or anyone. But you know, I’ve done some listening to podcasts and reading new blogs and I’m getting there. I am! I mean I even wrote 5 Things To Tell Yourself Today to get me in a better mindset!
The dark nights and cold days are not helping. I keep telling myself I need to invest in a SAD clock/lamp, and well this month it has to happen. The oil radiator has come out already to keep my room toasty and warm.
A shorter list than usual, but here we go.
+ Autumn colours
+ New books
+ Spending time with friends
+ Thor: Ragnarok
+ Outdoor adventures
+ Visiting Lancaster Castle
+ Running a 10k race in Lancaster
+ Blue Planet II starting
+ My new spider plant
+ Seeing the Bents Christmas section
Anyway, now it’s time for all things Christmas! I cannot wait. It’s okay to have a listen of Michael Bublé’s Christmas album today… right?
