After doing my March TBR, I did really well and read 9 books. Last month I read 2. A measly 2. I’ve decided that having an idea of what I have to read makes it easier to get it done. And I do love reading, but we all know what it’s like – life gets busy and you forget to make time for those quiet moments. Well this month I’m doing it.
I’ve got a really good selection here, with completely different genres. I’m hoping this keeps things interesting!
I said in March that I wanted to re-read a book each month because I know I have so many great ones on my shelf. That didn’t happen in April, but for May I’m reading The Last Song again. I love Nicholas Sparks, and although I do think his books tend to follow a very similar path, they’re easy to read and enjoy. (And cry at!)
I started reading The Woman in Black last Halloween and didn’t get very far. This hardback has a few different stories in it and I’ve read those ones so it’s about time I finished the title story! I actually really liked the first film with Daniel Radcliffe (haven’t seen the sequel!) so I really do want to read it.
This is one I’ve already started – I’m about a quarter of the way in. I love Rainbow Rowell, and I absolutely adored Fangirl, so reading Carry On is a necessity! So far I’m enjoying it, but because the book is so big I haven’t been taking it on my commute to work each week. Reading before going to sleep is what I need to work on this month!
